VPN use and remote work requirements 🌐

SMA employees who are permitted to work remotely must first return the VPN connection request form to SMA IT, signed by both the employee and their immediate supervisor. VPN connections are only permitted to and from SMA devices.

The minimum network requirements for connecting to SMA remotely are 10Mbps X  2Mpbs, with less than 100ms latency to the VPN endpoint. Please note, these are the minimum requirements to access the file servers remotely and may increase if using other bandwidth-intensive applications such as Teams.
